FIGURE SKATING WILL TAKE PLACE AT PISTA DE HIELO BUGAMBILIAS (BUGAMBILIAS ICE RINK)
● The competition is organized by the International Gay Figure Skating Union, CODE Jalisco, and the Federación Mexicana Deportiva de la Diversidad (Mexican Sports Federation for Diversity).
● Athletes may participate in various categories and levels of competition.
● Attendance at competitions is free and open to the public.
● Figure skating in Guadalajara will be held in Pista de Hielo Bugambilias.
IGFSU/ISI
Figure skating will be run by the International Gay Figure Skating Union (a member organization of the Federation of Gay Games) using the rules and format of www.sktateisi.org.
The objectives of the ISI align with those of the Federation of Gay Games regarding Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best and allowing for partnering WITHOUT regard to gender. You skate as the gender you identify with, and you may have a partner of any gender.
If you are an ISU skater, your programs will fit into ISI categories.
It is necessary for skaters to have a valid ISI membership BEFORE you can register.

Please feel free to choose IGFSU as your Home Rink. IGFSU will work with you to determine test equivalents if you have only tested ISU. For Frequently Asked Questions including music duration and judging criteria, please visit www.IGFSU.org.

The only rink in Guadalajara is in a shopping mall. The ice surface is small: 34 meters (ROUND). It is in a lovely neighborhood a 25-minute Uber ride from the center of Guadalajara.
Athletes can participate in the different categories.

*The fees are per person and will be according to the exchange rate of the mexican pesos at the time of registration (the fees will vary depending on each country’s conversion)
The fee for the sport is separate from the general registration fee.
Bugambilias Ice Rink
WORLD DIVERSITY GAMES
Spectator entrance to figure skating competitions will be subject to the criteria and policies of Bugambilias Skating Rink since it is a private venue (information will be provided soon). Pink Flamingo ™ and Dancesport Galas will have entrance fees.
The competition is organised by International Gay Figure Skating Union, CODE Jalisco and FMDD.
